THE PREDICTION

Bristol City have suffered a highly disruptive international break after being forced to shut their Failand training ground due to a number of positive Covid-19 tests within the club, although the club have not named the players or staff members who returned the positive tests. Should this led to any key personnel missing out on this game then it will be considered a huge blow for the Robins, who sit fifth in the table and full of confidence after victory away to local rivals Cardiff City last time out. Bottom placed Derby parted company with manager Phillip Cocu over the break with a new boss yet to be appointed with the Rams recently entering the final stages of a takeover. With such disruption at both clubs, there is a sense of the unknown as for what to expect in this match. However, with Bristol City in good form having won their last two league games, Dean Holden’s side should be able to overcome the Covid-19 related troubles that have plagued the club over the international break and secure a hard-fought victory here.
