Hobro have avoided automatic relegation courtesy of crucial back-to-back wins against bottom club Esbjerg, despite that they are still not safe and will have to compete in the relegation play-offs to maintain their place in the top flight. Randers have only won one of their seven league matches since the league resumed and although they are still targeting a place in Europe via the play-offs they will certainly need to improve their form if they are to have a chance of qualifying. The sole win for Randers in that sequence was a 4-0 home victory against Hobro, but Hobro are much tougher to beat on their own patch having only lost one of their last eight home games.
