FPL Gameweek 12 – head-to-head comparisons: Kevin De Bruyne vs Sadio Mane

It is an intriguing battle in the title race this weekend between Man City and Liverpool but also a fascinating battle when it comes to FPL assets. Two of the main Fantasy protagonists in the form of Kevin De Bruyne (£10.2m) and Sadio Mane (£12.0m) will lock horns and strong arguments can be made for either player in Gameweek 12.

The top two midfielders in terms of FPL points, Mane just edges out De Bruyne by two points but he has made one more appearance than the Belgian, so there is very little to choose between them overall. However, recent form points towards the Liverpool man as, over the last four gameweeks, he has amassed 31 FPL points compared to De Bruyne's 11. That, combined with the fact that Liverpool have home advantage, makes Mane a more attractive option in the crunch Gameweek 12 clash.
