England vs China prediction
Whilst they may have been playing the lowest ranked team in the competition, England still had to take care of business this past weekend and they did just that. David Ralph’s side were excellent as they brushed aside South Africa, winning 4-0 in Amstelveen to leave themselves clear at the top of Pool D. They now have the chance to ram home that advantage by defeating China.
A hard-fought 2-2 draw against India sees China very much still in the hunt and after twice coming from behind, they showed real resilience that should stand them in good stead moving forward. But when considering how strong England looked last time out, albeit against weak opposition, it’s hard to see the Chinese getting anything from this one.
