THE TEAM NEWS
ENGLAND
- England got their Super 12s campaign off to a perfect start, bowling West Indies out for 55 and going onto reach their target in just 8.2 overs.
- No changes are expected within the England team for this game, with all five bowlers utilised against West Indies picking up at least one wicket.
BANGLADESH
- Bangladesh will have been disappointed after failing to defend a score of 171 against Sri Lanka last time out, ultimately losing by five wickets.
- The temptation will be for the Tigers to change their bowling line-up after not defending such a large total and left-arm bowler Shoriful Islam could find himself involved in this match.
THE PREDICTION
Bangladesh have not totally convinced so far in this T20 World Cup, losing to Scotland in the Group Stage and now having been beaten by Sri Lanka in the Super 12s. Their only two victories have come against Oman and Papua New Guinea, with England of course representing far tougher opposition. The firepower of England’s batting line-up should ensure a strong score with the bat and when combined with a bowling attack on song in all departments against West Indies, this England side are expected to prove too strong for Bangladesh in this one, so back Eoin Morgan side to make it two successive Super 12 victories here.
