Cook Islands vs Tahiti prediction
In the first of these two friendlies between the two sides the other day, Tahiti defeated Cook Islands by three goals to one in at the CIFA Complex in Raratonga the other day.
Ranked 186th in the world, Cook Islands hadn’t played since 2024 after they had been eliminated from OFC qualification for FIFA World Cup 2026 in the preliminary round. Tahiti, too, haven’t played in a while but they did make it through to the semi-finals of OFC qualification with victories against Samoa and Vanuatu before losing to New Caledonia in the OFC semi-finals.
A low-scoring encounter wouldn’t be a massive surprise but Tahiti remain the overwhelming favourites to come out on top.
