China vs Australia prediction
China topped Pool D over the likes of India and England with strong offensive showings which saw them grow in confidence going forward as they settled into the tournament. Crucial wins over England and South Africa saw them go through as pool winners following a hard-fought 2-2 draw with India earlier in the tournament.
Australia are one of just two second round qualifiers to have lost a game in round one, the Hockeyroos having been overwhelmed offensively by Netherlands. Whilst China are not as strong as the Dutch on paper, their attacking prowess is good and they should be afforded success against this Australian side. With that in mind, consider backing China to pick up the points here.
