Philadelphia Eagles @ Houston Texans – 8:15pm ET
This TNF affair looks like a real mismatch as 7-0 Philadelphia Eagles travel to Houston to face the 1-5-1 Texans. The Eagles have been the best team in the NFL so far this season and will be confident of extending their perfect start to the year. The Texans have managed just one win and with struggles on both sides of the ball, they are likely to find it tough going here with the Eagles able to record a straightforward success.
Prediction: Philadelphia Eagles to cover -14 spread
Carolina Panthers @ Cincinnati Bengals – 1:00pm ET
Carolina Panthers came extremely close to making it back-to-back wins as they fell agonisingly short in their clash with Atlanta Falcons last week. The Panthers were edged in OT but they will have been content with their efforts, especially on offense which has improved immeasurably in the past two weeks. While their record does not make for good reading, they head to Cincinnati to face the Bengals with some confidence. The Bengals were poor in defeat to Cleveland Browns last week and with star WR Ja’Marr Chase still sidelined, the Panthers make appeal with the aid of a start on the spread.
Prediction: Carolina Panthers to cover +7 spread
