PREDICTION
Bournemouth are not yet mathematically safe of relegation but at the same time there would need to be a catastrophic set of results go against them for the club to drop to England’s second tier. The same however cannot be said about their opponents this weekend.

Swansea come into this game hovering just the right side of the drop zone, but the results have dried up for Carlos Carvalhal’s men at just the wrong time. The Swans are now looking over their shoulder to Southampton who they face the following midweek.

That means that this fixture takes on even larger importance for the South Wales outfit, especially as the Saints have the better goal difference at present. Swansea have not won any of their last six league matches and things are suddenly getting pretty tense.

It was Southampton that Bournemouth lost to last weekend and they will not want to lose to another relegation rival this time around. There were accusations that the Cherries have hit the beach and that is something that Swansea will look to capitalise on.

If results go Bournemouth’s way then a point will mean they are sure of securing a fourth straight Premier League campaign, although with the way that Swansea have been as of late, they will be good value to get all three.
