- Bangladesh bounced back from their mauling in the 1st T20 match to win the second in emphatic fashion themselves as they recovered their form with the bat to smash an impressive 211/4 to win by 36 runs.
- Liton Das, Soumya Sarkar, Shakib Al Hasan and Mahmudullah all contributed well and scored with exceptional strike rates so they will be hoping that Tamim Iqbal can find some form coming into this game and that will make them even more formidable.
- Skipper Shakib Al Hasan continued his fine form last time out as he not only hit an unbeaten 42 but also picked up five wickets as he was the undoubted star and they will surely name an unchanged team for this deciding match.
West Indies

- All the pressure is on the tourists for this final match as they have lost both Test and ODI series so far and they have to win this game otherwise they go home in what will be considered a pretty disastrous trip ahead of their home series against England.
- Changes are unlikely as they did not exactly play badly but they will hope that Cottrell or Thomas can take a couple of early wickets to out them on the front foot, while Fabian Allen has shown his importance in slowing the run rate down too.
- Shai Hope will be fundamental to their hopes once again but Bravo, Lewis and Hetymer really have to start producing the goods if they are to challenge the hosts here and not go down to yet another defeat.
THE PREDICTION
The final match of the West Indies’ tour of Bangladesh is a key one as it will decide the T20 series and it is the tourists’ final hope of winning something before they return home. Bangladesh bounced back nicely in the second match and that will have given them a big boost in confidence. They have produced the goods more consistently than their West Indian counterparts and it is for that reason that they have to be favoured in this crunch decider.
