Western Sydney Wanderers currently occupy the last of the finals series play-offs spots due to the fact they lie 6^th in the A-League table. The aim now for them will be to make sure they stay in the top half dozen by the time the regular season comes to an end.

Next up they face a Wellington Phoenix side who find themselves bottom of the table after losing four of their last six league matches. The Wanderers will have identified this game as one where they can earn all three points, but failure to do so could have severe consequences for their play-off ambitions. By all accounts though, it should be a home win.
