PREDICTION
The final day of the regular A-League season has thrown up a couple of interesting ties, and one of these will take place at the ANZ Stadium on Sunday. The visitors Adelaide United have already secured a play-off berth but the same cannot be said for the hosts.

Josep Gombau’s men will be keeping a keen eye on proceedings between Perth Glory and Brisbane Roar, as that result could well have serious ramifications on their own hopes for a top six finish. The only way to be assured of them extending their season is by picking up a win on Sunday.

With Adelaide United already over the line, they may well take their foot of the gas, something that the Wanderers can take advantage off. There is much more at a stake for the hosts and that urgency may well just give them the impetus to pick up a vital last three points of the campaign.
