- Wigan's fine run of form continued as they made it four wins in a row with a comfortable win over play-off rivals Salford and have now made it into the top 5 for the first time this season.
- Dan Sarginson again missed out for Wigan through injury last week but he is in with a shout of returning to the Warriors' backline here after he was named in the 19-man squad along with Liam Byrne.
- Joe Greenwood suffered another knock to the head last week and will miss out under the concussion protocol and in a further blow to the Warriors, skipper Sean O’Loughlin is out with the Achilles injury that forced him from the field in the early stages of the Salford win.

- Hull KR secured a hugely important win as they defeated local rivals Hull FC with that victory potentially shaping their season as they drew level with those sides above them and moved off the bottom on points difference.
- Rovers are unlikely to make any changes to their side unless head coach Tony Smith decides to employ some rotation to his team with George Lawler potentially set to be rested after a heavy workload so far this season.
- Jimmy Keinhorst has returned to the Hull KR 19-man squad for this game with Tommy Lee making way but he did not appear in the matchday 17 last week and Keinhorst is unlikely to feature barring several changes to the side.
THE PREDICTION
Hull KR will want to avenge their narrow loss to Wigan at the start of June, a win that was the catalyst for the Warriors to go on a four-match unbeaten run. That run is still active now and has seen Wigan climb into the play-off spots which they will not want to surrender and they can win again. Rovers will travel full of confidence after their win over Hull FC last week but with Wigan seemingly turning the corner after a poor start to the season, they can claim another win on home soil.
