- Warrington had their game against London won at half-time after racing into a 0-36 lead but failed to score a point in the second half which will give the Wolves something to work on in this clash with Salford.
- Luther Burrell made his Wolves debut from the bench and that may be where he has to settle for a spot once again against Salford despite putting in a solid opening performance in the final quarter of the game.
- Warrington head coach Steve Price has named an unchanged 19-man squad following last week’s win with captain Chris Hill once again missing out due to serving the second and final game of his suspension.

- Salford were comfortably defeated by Huddersfield and now face an uphill task to get themselves back into the play-off positions as their poor performances of late threaten to derail their season.
- The Red Devils may look to change their side this week after some poor performances and have plenty of options in the outside backs but it’s the forwards that have received reinforcements in the 19-man squad this week.
- Adam Walker and Adam Lawton are both back in contention along with new signing Josh Johnson who joined the club from Barrow this week with Derrell Olpherts, Ben Nakubuwai and Ken Sio making way.
THE PREDICTION
Warrington bounced back from their loss against St. Helens with a solid display against London although their second-half performance leaves room for improvement. They now host Salford who have struggled in their last two games and could again here with Warrington likely to be too strong. Salford’s play-off hopes are starting to fade and, although they remain in contention, they must put a winning run together soon. After their last two performances though, a huge turnaround would be required here.
