- Salford produced some brilliant rugby on their way to a superb Round 1 win over Huddersfield as they got their campaign off to a great start and will now be looking to start the season with back-to-back wins as they host London.
- Salford's Junior Sa'u sufferd a rib injury last week with head coach Ian Watson indicating that he was likely to be unavailable this week but he is a surprise inclusion in the 19-man squad and could feature.
- The Red Devils have named an unchanged squad from last week’s win and will look to build on their impressive opening round in their first home game of the season with Tyrone McCarthy and Jake Bibby set to miss out again unless of any late injury concerns.

- London made their intentions for the season very clear as they produced a great performance to claim an opening round win against Wakefield to announce their return to Super League in impressive fashion.
- On-loan Ryan Morgan was unavailable for London was last week and could come into contention here with the centre named in the 19-man squad although Danny Ward may choose to stick with the same 17.
- Jordan Abdull and Alex Walker were two of the standout performers in Round 1 and had a big hand in several tries whilst big prop Eddie Battye helped himself to two tries having come off the bench.
THE PREDICTION
Salford were one of the highlights of Round 1 with them playing some great stuff to beat Huddersfield but London were equally as impressive as they came from behind to defeat Wakefield. They will both look to replicate last week's efforts in what is primed to be a high-scoring contest if the bad weather holds off. London will feel they are capable of winning after last week’s exploits but Salford should win this one on home soil.
