- Hull KR lost their relegation four-pointer against London which saw the Robins fall to the bottom of the Super League table with the pressure beginning to mount on Tony Smith’s side.
- Rovers have received a big boost for their derby with fierce local rivals Hull FC as Danny McGuire and Mitch Garbutt look set to return after they were named in an 18-man squad which Rovers opted to name for the second week running.
- They have left a gap in their squad as they hope to complete the signing of Leeds hooker Matt Parcell with Shaun Lunt set to return to his former club as part of the deal but there is still work to be done to get the deal over the line.

- Hull FC continued their fine run of form as they hammered Catalans and were able to post 50 points in the process in the south of France as they made it four wins in a row in all competitions.
- The Black and Whites will hope Albert Kelly will be fit enough to feature against his former club after he was forced off against Catalans whilst skipper Danny Houghton also picked up a knock but head coach Lee Radford has said both should be fine.
- Radford has made two changes to last week’s 19-man squad with Mark Minichiello back after missing out with a knock whilst long-term absentee Carlos Tuimavave is also back after an issue with his Achilles which sees Kieran Buchanan and Danny Washbrook make way.
THE PREDICTION
Hull KR dropped to the bottom of the Super League table when going down to London last week with Rovers now under serious pressure to begin picking up points. They host local rivals Hull FC and with the away side in such good form, they can pile the misery on the home side. They say form goes out of the window for derby games but it will take a special effort from Rovers to overcome this Hull side if they play anywhere near as well as they did last week with Lee Radford’s men playing with a great swagger at the moment.
