  • Castleford lost their seventh game from their last nine matches as their freefall down the table continued with defeat at Salford and will face a confident London outfit as they attempt to get back on track.

  • Tigers head coach Daryl Powell was starting to get most of his squad back together but has lost a further two players to injury this week with Greg Eden dropping out of the 19-man squad after he was a late withdrawal before the Salford game last week.

  • In an even bigger blow for the Tigers, Junior Moors is expected to miss the rest of the 2019 season with a possible fractured hip with Will Maher taking his place whilst Tuoyo Egodo comes into the 19 for Eden.

  • London secured their third win in a row as they leapfrogged Hull KR to send Rovers bottom after winning their relegation four-pointer and will head to Castleford with plenty of confidence as they attempt to keep themselves off the bottom of the table.

  • The Broncos could have named an unchanged 17 this week following their strong showing over Hull KR and a clean bill of health reported but they will make at least one change with Nathan Mason dropped from the squad as he heads out on dual registration.

  • Will Lovell comes into the 19-man squad in place of Mason and will be hoping to earn a place in the matchday squad but will have to go up against teammate Greg Richards who will also be hoping for a recall.

THE PREDICTION

Castleford are in real danger of missing out on the play-offs and must find a win from somewhere if they are to remain in touch with those teams above them. They now face a London side in great form and full of confidence which could pose problems for the Tigers. Castleford will think that this is the game for them to get back on track but London will have other ideas and whilst the Tigers should be too strong on home soil, it would not be a surprise to see London maintain their brilliant form of late to snatch another important win.
