- The precociously talented Auger-Aliassime continued his excellent run at Queen's Club with a 7-5, 6-2 defeat of top seed Stefanos Tsitsipas and the Canadian youngster is going from strength to strength.
- Having already eliminated Grigor Dimitrov and Nick Kyrgios in the first two rounds, the 18-year-old has caught the attention of tennis fans and he is already being touted as a future Grand Slam winner.
- Auger-Aliassime is the youngest Queen's semi-finalist since Lleyton Hewitt in 1999 and he now faces one of the elder statesman in the sport in the form of Feliciano Lopez.
FELICIANO LOPEZ
- Feliciano Lopez continued his love affair with this tournament as the 2017 champion edged a close-fought battle with Milos Raonic in the quarter-finals, taking the deciding set on a tie-break.
- The Spaniard feels comfortable on grass - as shown by his good record here - and his experience on the surface is often what gets him over the line in tight matches so he will seek to use that to his advantage against rising star Auger-Aliassime.
- The 37-year-old has also had the spotlight on him in the doubles this week as he has been partnering Andy Murray on the Scot's return from surgery and it is possible that Lopez will start to feel fatigue at this point.
