- Parramatta were brilliant as they blitzed Brisbane in the first half and secured an important win in their bid to make the play-offs but must back that up against high-flying Canberra as they travel to Darwin for this game on neutral soil.
- Michael Jennings is out for the Eels after pulling out of the Tonga team last week but Josh Hoffman should be fit to play after he was stretchered off against the Broncos and has been named in the centres for now.
- Brad Takairangi gets a chance on the opposite side of the field in place of Jennings whilst young five-eighth Dylan Brown comes back into the side following injury with Jaeman Salmon dropping to the bench with Ray Stone out of the side.

- Canberra almost blew a 20-point lead against Cronulla but managed to claim their third win in a row thanks to a Jarrod Croker penalty that edged them to a 22-20 win to maintain their assault on those sides above them.
- Josh Hodgson and Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad had been doubts but both should feature in this game with Hodgson making his return from injury after missing several fixtures but Nick Cotric is out.
- Cotric will be replaced by Sebastian Kris in the centres whilst Siliva Havili drops to the bench at the expense of Hodgson and Corey Horsburgh also returns to the side with Emre Guler making way on the bench.
THE PREDICTION
Parramatta once again looked like a different team on home soil and their challenge will be to back it up on the road as they face Canberra in Darwin. They face the in-form Raiders who will be looking to extend their winning run to four matches and they can do just that. They received a huge scare against Cronulla after allowing them to draw level after leading 20-0 but they should learn from that and be able to win this one more comfortably.
