- Manly bounced back from their loss against Brisbane with a solid win away at Cronulla with the Sea Eagles making it six wins from their last eight matches and will be confident of improving that run as they host Gold Coast.
- After working their way through an injury crisis, Manly could soon have plenty of options available to them with star pair Daly Cherry-Evans and Tom Trbojevic both edging closer to a return.

- Gold Coast lost again as they went down to Canterbury after throwing away a 16-0 lead with the Bulldogs scoring 22 unanswered points as questions continue to be asked regarding the future of Garth Brennan.
- That is now four defeats in a row for the Titans and the performances that they are producing are not one of a team that look set to turn this four-match losing streak around at any time soon.
- The Titans are boosted by the return of Shannon Boyd this week but the game has come too soon for Michael Gordon who will again sit out whilst Keegan Hipgrave is also back on the bench with Jack Stockwell and Max King dropping out.
THE PREDICTION
Manly's impressive form continued as they made it six wins from their last eight games with a well-fought victory away at Cronulla. The Sea Eagles are playing well despite missing plenty of talent but that appears to have galvanised them and they can win again here. The Titans seem to be under a cloud as a club at the minute with lots of players facing scrutiny over their efforts whilst head coach Garth Brennan is also under fire to which they haven’t responded well to in recent weeks and that looks like continuing here.
