THE TEAM NEWS
NAMIBIA
- Namibia are still live in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations but their elimination will be confirmed with anything but a win against Ivory Coast following their second loss of the tournament against South Africa.
- After working hard to keep the South Africans out, the pressure on their goal was finally too much for them as they conceded with 22 minutes left of their Group D contest and were unable to get back into the game.
- With two losses to their name, they still have a chance of progressing but after failing to find the back of the net in either of their contests so far their chances look slim with Benson Shilongo’s place in the side in doubt after he was taken off at half-time against South Africa.
IVORY COAST
- Ivory Coast lost their crucial contest with Morocco and must now look for a win in their final Group D clash with Namibia to help them avoid an early exit from the Africa Cup of Nations.
- The game against Morocco was very even for large spells but it was their opponents who managed to claim the all-important win to seal their progression to the last 16 thanks to the 1-0 reverse.
- For the second game in succession, Wilfried Zaha was only named on the bench and did not even appear as a substitute in the game against Morocco but changes are surely afoot ahead of this must-win game.

THE PREDICTION
Both Namibia and Ivory Coast can still qualify for the last 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations but the Ivoirians are more likely at this stage. They currently sit on three points and a win would secure their progression whilst Namibia have it all to do after losing both of their games so far. To make things worse for the Namibians, they have yet to register a goal and face another uphill task here with Ivory Coast likely to have too much for them and they can earn the win that secures their progression.
