- Huddersfield struggled to post points against Wakefield last week despite plenty of early territory and it cost them as the home side claimed a 22-4 victory.
- Rick Stone is able to recall Michael Lawrence following an injury whilst Alex Mellor is named in the 19-man squad for the first time this season. Daniel Smith is suspended whilst Jordan Turner also drops out.
- Huddersfield have won just one of their four games this season with them conceding 23 points per game, the second highest in Super League so far.
THE PREDICTION
Widnes will be looking to bounce back after letting a big lead slip at Wigan last week whilst Huddersfield are still yet to get going this season after they fell to their third defeat of the year against Wakefield. Widnes enjoy playing at home on their much maligned iPitch and with Huddersfield really struggling on the road, the Vikings should get back to winning ways here.
