Zalgiris vs Petrovac prediction

Zalgiris Vilnius earned themselves an authoritative two-goal advantage as they defeated Petrovac by three goals to one in the first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round tie last week. Nikola Petkovic scored a brace for Zalgiris either side of a Nemanja Carevic equaliser before a late first-leg clincher scored by Ukrainian forward Stanislav Bilenkyi.

Zalgiris reached the group stages of the UEFA Europa Conference League in the 2023-24 season but have won just one of four European ties since then. Petrovac are playing in just their second ever European campaign after reaching the third qualifying round of the 2009-10 UEFA Europa League.

Home advantage and a bit more European experience should ensure Zalgiris protect and add to their two-goal lead from the first-leg last week.
