West Indies vs Sri Lanka prediction

Sri Lanka were excellent with the bat in the first ODI, racking up 303/7 thanks to contributions right down the order and significant scores from both Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis. That proved to be enough as the tourists bowled out West Indies for 262 to win by 41 runs. The Windies did not bowl well enough and you’d expect that to chance ahead of this second ODI this weekend.

There were still positive signs for West Indies despite the loss and provided their bowling attack can find more cutting edge then that gives them a much better chance against this Sri Lankan line-up. At the same venue, we’ll surely see a stronger all-round showing from the Windies and it’s worth backing them to level things up.

West Indies vs Sri Lanka tip: West Indies to win
