Vojvodina did well to finish second in Serbia’s top-flight, finishing above Partizan Belgrade. Vojvodina were beaten by Hungarian giants Ferencvaros in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League earlier this month.
Perhaps the biggest team in UEFA competition at this stage, Ajax head into this season having appointed former Girona boss Michel. The Amsterdam giants endured another chaotic campaign last year as they finished fifth in the Eredivisie but won the European competition play-offs.
Ajax are under immense pressure but Michel should re-instil their attacking intentions and both teams scoring seems a good bet for this first-leg, with the Dutch outfit still firm favourites.
