The first-leg of this UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round tie last week saw Vikingur Reykjavik edge past Kosovan opposition Malisheva by a goal to nil at Stadium Fadil Vokrri in Kosovo. In an even contest with very few chances at either end of the park, it was Nikolaj Hansen who snatched the victory for Vikingur with a strike in first-half stoppage-time.
Vikingur Reykjavik will believe they have a very good chance of reaching the league phase of the UEFA Europa Conference League, as they take on a Malisheva side that have very little European pedigree.
