Vardar vs La Fiorita prediction

North Macedonian outfit Vardar finished fifth in the Macedonian First League, just about squeezing into the UEFA Europa Conference League as a result of winning the 2024/25 Macedonian Football Cup. They haven’t played in Europe since 2019 but did qualify for the UEFA Europa League group stages in the 2017/18 campaign.

They now face a La Fiorita side that, as a team coming out of San Marino, have to be viewed as one of the weakest sides in this competition. Thomas Manfredini’s side finished second in the Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio last season, but they won their first ever game in Europe last year against Isloch Minsk Raion.

The visitors will head to North Macedonia with a hope of being able to keep things frustrating for Vardar and tight for the second-leg with a low-scoring encounter likely.
