Varazdin vs Santa Clara prediction

Nikola Safarac is in charge of a Varazdin that only reformed as recently as 2012. They finished fourth in the Croatian top-flight last season to ensure they qualified for their first ever European campaign as a new club. They only gained promotion back to the top-flight as recently as 2022.

They now face a Santa Clara side that are based in the Azores and are also playing in their first ever European campaign. The club based more or less in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, are coached by Vasco Matos with a squad that boasts the likes of Guilherme Ramos, Sidney Lima and Gabriel Silva.

Santa Clara are a typical Portuguese side in terms of a defensive style of football, but if they are to continue to be typically Portuguese then siding with Varazdin at home seems the good value bet.

Varazdin vs Santa Clara tip: Double chance – Varazdin to win or draw
