Valur Reykjavik come into this one on the back of a 3-2 defeat to Fram in the Icelandic Besta deild at the weekend. That leaves them sitting sixth in the 2026 Icelandic top-flight after finishing second behind Vikingur Reykjavik in 2025.
They now face a Zrinjski Mostar side that are looking to emulate their success in European competition last season. The Bosnians reached the knockout play-off round of the UEFA Europa Conference League, losing to eventual winners Crystal Palace.
Zrinjski defeated Icelandic side Breidablik in the UEFA Europa League last season and they will fancy themselves to do so again but the first-leg may be tough up in Northern Europe.
