Vaduz vs Dungannon Swifts prediction

The format of European football means that Vaduz’ only way to the UEFA Champions League is via winning the UEFA Europa Conference League and then the UEFA Europa League.

They finished sixth in the Swiss second-tier last season, with Marc Schneider at the helm, but they have been able to punch above their weight in Europe, albeit they haven’t won a game in Europe since reaching the UECL group stages in the 2022/23 campaign.

They now take on a Dungannon Swifts side that, under the management of Rodney McAree, finished fourth in the NIFL Premiership last season are back in Europe for the first time in 18 years since losing to Suduva Marijampole in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup in 2007.

Vaduz may not have the best preparation for a European campaign, but they will fancy their chances of being far more experienced, with a bit more nous, in this tie.

Vaduz vs Dungannon Swifts tip: Double chance – Vaduz to win or draw
