USA vs Uruguay prediction

The United States come into this one on the back of a hard-fought but reasonably impressive 2-1 defeat of Paraguay to back up a win against Australia last month. Mauricio Pochettino’s side are now unbeaten in four matches as they begin to find some form ahead of co-hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup next summer.

Coached by Marcelo Bielsa, Uruguay play an entertaining and intense style of football that is expected to see them go deep into next year. The Uruguayans most recently shared a goalless draw with Mexico the other day to extend their own unbeaten run of form to six matches.

These are two sides wanting to play more of an entertaining style that have begun to find some form of late and so both teams scoring would appear a good bet for this one.

USA vs Uruguay tip: Both teams to score
