Universitatea Cluj vs Brann prediction
Universitatea Cluj began their domestic season by losing on penalties to Universitatea Craiova in the Supercupa Romaniei. They then again lost on penalties a few days later to Dynamo Kyiv in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
Brann come into this one on the back of back-to-back 2-1 victories against Molde and Start in the Norwegian Eliteserien, where they finish sixth in the table. Brann reached the knockout play-off stage of the UEFA Europa Conference League last season.
Brann have more European pedigree and Uni Cluj will be deflated by their month so far so backing the visitors in a low-scoring first-leg in Romania seems a decent bet for this one.
