Ukraine vs Iceland prediction

Ukraine, under the management of Serhiy Rebrov, have been quite entertaining to watch in this qualifying campaign, as shown by their 5-3 victory against Iceland in Reykjavik last month. Iceland, on the other hand, have arguably been the best team to watch in Europe in the last year with their five matches in Group D qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup having consisted of 22 goals.

The Ukrainians were quite open and attacking the other day but they suffered a 4-0 hammering at the hands of France at Parc des Princes in Paris. Iceland, on the other hand, eased to a comfortable 2-0 win in Azerbaijan.

The two sides sit level on points in their group as they push to finish second and enter into the playoffs in Europe, which take place in March. It should be quite a fun watch for the neutral.
