Uganda vs New Zealand prediction

Uganda started brightly against Jamaica on Monday and were leading after their first quarter, but they were unable to hold on to their advantage and they ultimately suffered a 55-49 loss to the Caribbean nation.

Having won their first two matches, they are in a decent position in the standings but they now go up against the highest-ranked team in Pool B, as New Zealand return to action after a rest day.

The Silver Ferns have won both of their matches to date, most recently overcoming Jamaica by just five points on Sunday in a match that could have easily swung the other way.

Uganda are capable of pushing New Zealand here but the 2010 gold medalists boast a little more quality in the attacking areas and that is likely to make the difference.
