Scotland vs Uganda prediction
Scotland came agonisingly close to a famous victory on Wednesday as they were pipped 45-43 by Jamaica in a dramatic contest at The Hydro.
The hosts were briefly leading in the fourth quarter but Jamaica responded in kind and subsequently ran down the clock to claim the spoils, effectively ending Scotland's hopes of reaching the semi-finals.
Uganda are locked on four points with Scotland having won two and lost two of their four games so far. The African side, who were not in action on Wednesday, most recently lost 55-49 to Jamaica on Tuesday.
Another close encounter is expected here. Uganda may be the higher-ranked of the two nations, but if Scotland show the same level they displayed against Jamaica, we think the hosts are capable of winning this.
