Australia vs Jamaica prediction

With an incredible +187 goal difference in Pool A, Australia cruised into the semi-finals as they won all five of their matches, setting up what is a repeat of the gold medal match at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The Diamonds, who beat Jamaica 55-51 in that decider, were the pre-tournament favourites to claim gold again in Glasgow, and they have so far lived up to that billing with the likes of Cara Koenen and Sophie Garbin proving to be ruthless in front of the net.

Jamaica have impressed in their own right, coming through a competitive Pool B where they won four of their five games, losing only to New Zealand.

The Caribbean side thrashed Wales 74-28 in their final pool game on Thursday, but they will be under no illusion regarding the task facing them here.

They pushed the Aussies close four years ago, but the defending champions are looking even stronger this time around, and we see them progressing to the gold medal match.
