Udinese Preview: Frustrated Friulians
Udinese begin this weekend’s round of fixtures sitting in the bottom-half of the table after taking the last couple of months off since securing their Serie A status but the Friulians do now come into this one on the back of a much-needed victory to earn some respite last week.
The north east side defeated Cagliari by two goals to one at the Sardegna Arena in Sardinia last weekend with Oier Zarraga scoring a 27th minute winner for Udinese before Nadir Zortea’s equaliser and Thomas Kristensen snatched all three points mid-way through the second-half.
Monza Preview: Poor Monza
Under the management of AC Milan’s legendary centre-back Alessandro Nesta, Monza started the season so badly that he was sacked mid-way through the season for Salvatore Bocchetti but then replaced over a month later due to performances continuing to be poor.
Nesta remains in charge and overseen their relegation to Serie B as they come into this one on the back of a 4-0 demolition at the hands of Atalanta at Stadio Brianteo last weekend thanks to goals from Ademola Lookman and Marco Brescianini as well as a Charles De Ketelaere brace.

Udinese vs Monza Prediction
Udinese begin this weekend’s round of fixtures with a chance of finishing in the top-half of the Serie A table. They have become low-scoring of late, scoring more than one goal in a game on just two occasions in their last 12 matches. They now face a Monza side that have scored just 25 goals in their 35 games with only Lecce having scored fewer than the hosts so a low-scoring home win is the likeliest outcome for this one in Friuli.
