Tunisia vs Mauritania prediction

Tunisia come into this one on the back of securing top spot in Group H in CAF qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, winning nine and drawing one of their ten matches. The Tunisians most recently hammered Namibia by three goals to one last month with goals from Ali Abdi, Hannibal Mejbri and Ferjani Sassi.

They now face a Mauritania side that continued their regression in recent years by winning just one of their ten qualifiers in Group B. Mauritania most recently suffered a 4-0 hammering at the hands of a strong Senegalese side in the October international break.

It has often been the case that middling sides in Africa can turn themselves into difficult to beat but that doesn’t appear to be the case anymore for Mauritania and a comfortable Tunisian win is to be expected.

Tunisia vs Mauritania tip: Tunisia to win to nil
