Torpedo BelAZ Zhodino come into this one on the back of a 4-1 demolition of Molodechno-DYuSSh-4 in the Belarusian Premier League to make it seven victories on the spin across all competitions. They currently sit third in the Belarusian top-flight below both Maxline and Slavia-Mozyr.
They now face a Rabotnicki side that, coached by Bojan Markoski, were a regular in UEFA competition for around a decade or so, but are now back in Europe for the first time since 2017 when they were beaten by Budapest Honved in the UEFA Europa League.
The fact that they are midway through their domestic season and as well as Rabotnicki’s lack of European nous and experience of late, siding with the Belarusians would be the way to go for this first-leg.
