World number nine Felix Auger-Aliassime has an excellent game for grass that he exhibited last season at the Stuttgart Open, where he finished runner-up in an ATP tour final for the eighth time. The 21-year-old then made the semi-finals of the Halle Open before defeat to eventual champion Ugo Humbert and the quarter-finals of Wimbledon via a stunning five-set victory over Alexander Zverev in the round of 16. Auger-Aliassime finally broke his title duck this season by winning the ninth final of his career at the Rotterdam Open and that could have some mental standing here as he returns to the Netherlands on a surface he clearly enjoys. World number 56 Tallon Griekspoor is a tough opener, though, and the 25-year-old Dutchman will be backed well by the majority of the ‘s-Hertogenbosch crowd. This first meeting is likely to fall the Canadian’s way but FAA can sometime start a tournament slowly and that makes backing him to win outright a suitably cautious move.
