World number 15 Pablo Carreno Busta received a bye to the round of 16 at the Napoli Cup as the top seed and he should be considered the heavy favourite here for a few reasons. Due to the much-maligned planning of this tournament, 35-year-old Fabio Fognini played his entire first round match on Thursday afternoon and the Italian will have very little time to recuperate before taking on a player he has lost to on seven previous occasions.
