OLGA DANILOVIC VS MARTINA TREVISAN PREDICTION
30-year-old Martina Trevisan set a career-high WTA world ranking of 18th this time last season after reaching the semi-finals here the summer before, stunning Leylah Fernandez in three sets before running out steam against Coco Gauff. The Italian has always been a streaky player and, for the most part, a total clay specialist on tour but she has struggled to find anything like her joyous best on her favoured surface this season to make this a tough call against a qualifier.
World number 125 Olga Danilovic is a promising talent on clay and she qualified handily this week to make her third-successive appearance at Roland-Garros. The Serb reached the second round on her debut two years ago and bettered that with a third round exit last time around but this could be a three-set thriller before a winner is found. On current form, back Danilovic to earn at least a set to leave the victor up to chance.
