The 24-year-old takes a three-match losing streak into the Miami Open after taking just two games against fellow Czech Marketa Vondrousova at this stage of Indian Wells a fortnight ago, and it has been a poor start to 2023 after such a promising end last season saw her reach the semi-finals of the Guadalajara Masters.
