The 29-year-old has reached the round of 16 at three-successive Grand Slams for the first time in her illustrious but erratic career, suggesting she has plenty more success ahead of her in this most consistent period. Garcia won the WTA Finals to cap off last season, with a run to the semi-finals at the US Open and victory at the Cincinnati Masters other highlights.
