World number eight Cam Norrie is targeting a first qualification for the ATP Finals at the end of the season, having come in as second alternate last season to replace the injured Stefanos Tsitsipas on his debut. The 27-year-old has four ATP titles to his name, including three at ATP 250 level including this season’s Delray Beach and Lyon Open titles but his consistency across the tour and across levels of tournament has been the key to his incredible success. That is built mostly off of beating players ranked below him, with world number 163 Kaichi Uchida set for a likely nightmare on Thursday against one of the trickier opponents to face for a first time on tour. The 28-year-old won his first ever tour-level match in the first round and whilst that will be a tough force for Norrie to stop it is likely that the Brit can win comfortably. Back Norrie to win in straight sets, perhaps even taking less than 16.5 games in the match.
