IGA SWIATEK VS MARIE BOUZKOVA PREDICTION
World number one Iga Swiatek and two-time defending champion Iga Swiatek saved a match point in a three-set thriller with former number one Naomi Osaka that challenged her more than she has ever experienced at Roland-Garros.
The 22-year-old looked like crashing out o the draw when Osaka went up a break in the third set, having edged the first in a tiebreak before Osaka found peak tennis for a half-hour second set, but she improved at the pressure moment as her opponent’s arm got heavier to pass a very significant test.
World number 42 Marie Bouzkova is a baseline grafter who can cause plenty of top players problems on faster surfaces but she is likely to struggle against a resolute Swiatek in their first ever encounter. The Czech has conceded just 10 games so far this week but Swiatek will be eager to exude dominance again on Philippe-Chatrier. Back the Pole to win in straight sets.
