OL Lyonnes vs Chelsea prediction
After losing fairly convincingly in last season's Women's Champions League final to Barcelona, OL Lyonnes strengthened over the summer and have made an emphatic start to the 2026-27 campaign both domestically and in Europe.
Jonatan Giraldez' side hit Servette for eight last week with Marie-Antoinette Katoto helping herself to a hat-trick, and that is now an incredible 30 goals that the French side have scored in their last four games across all competitions.
Chelsea have been similarly effective in terms of results, but in a much more modest manner. They ground out a 1-0 win against group stage / league phase debutants Austria Wien last week, and then won by the same scoreline against London rivals Arsenal in the Women's Super League on Sunday.
These two sides have very different blueprints for winning football matches, but is hard to overlook OL Lyonnes' sheer relentless nature in front of goal right now.
