The former number eight is too good of a player to stay in these doldrums for long but it has been a concerning amount of time since we have seen even a flicker of good form and this looks an upset waiting to happen in a first meeting with Yibing Wu. World number 64 Wu beat Kyle Edmund in straight sets on Wednesday for a solid enough opener and he only recently claimed his maiden ATP title at the Dallas Open last month, stunning the likes of Taylor Fritz and John Isner en-route.
