World number nine Belinda Bencic came back from a set down to oust an impressive Marta Kostyuk on Tuesday. Fatigue looks to have been the reason for her withdrawal from the Qatar Open last week and a three-set epic against Kostyuk in the second round here is hardly welcome after such a fierce schedule, leaving more than just a hint of an upset about this clash with former world number 19 Karoline Muchova. The current world number 113 looks to be finding her feet on tour after her latest return from injury and back-to-back straight-set victories over Bernarda Pera and Sorana Cirstea, the latter of whom had just played the longest match of the season so far against Beatriz Haddad-Maia, suggests she can take at least a set here. Bencic needed three sets to beat Muchova last spring on clay and she should be able to battle through here despite heavy pressure. Back the Swiss to win outright or consider a shrewd move for a Muchova set.
