THE PREDICTION
This is probably the toughest match to call of the day on Tuesday as world number seven Andrey Rublev and number 12 Cam Norrie look in strong form. 27-year-old Norrie claimed the biggest title of his career here at the delayed October edition back in 2021 and he reached the quarter-finals last season before defeat to Carlos Alcaraz. The Brit came back from a set down against in-form Taro Daniel on Sunday to make it seven wins on the spin after he beat Alcaraz to the Rio Open title late last month. 25-year-old Rublev is yet to drop a set this campaign after two impressive results over Jiri Lehecka and Ugo Humbert and he finished runner-up to red-hot Daniil Medvedev at the Dubai Tennis Championships last time out after beating Alexander Zverev for the first time. Rublev leads Norrie 2-1 in their head-to-head after ousting the Brit in an uncharacteristically poor performance at this stage of the US Open last September and he has taken at least a set in all three of their matches. Back the Russian to earn at least a set and leave the victor up to chance, particularly as Norrie has pedigree here.
